The over 2,000 roof-top solar panels we installed on our property supply the City of Peabody Municipal Light Plan with green energy for the next 20 years.

Before Completion of Construction:

Our 145,000-square-foot property in Peabody, Massachusetts – about 20 minutes outside of Boston – was recently fully rebuilt after suffering from a devastating fire. Harrison Development worked with strategic partner Caruso Companies out of Revere, Massachusetts for its heavy equipment abilities on several aspects of the demolition and recycling of the brick and block structure to make fill to be used on site. We also partnered with Dutton & Garfield of New Hampshire, a Butler Building Systems dealer, for the energy efficient structure. IRC Solar, a Maine-based company, was used for the solar power plant. The solar power plant went online in less than a year in 2017.

Following months of hard work, Harrison Development has completed the job, and has been able to divide and open up the warehouse to two separate businesses within the location. The first company to occupy space of 40,000 square-feet was CEVA, a freight company. CEVA’s portion of the building is home to 32,000 square-feet of warehouse space, 10 loading docks, a drive-in door, and 8,000 square-feet of office space.

The remaining 105,000 square-feet of warehouse space is occupied by Bertolino Foods, with their companies: FB Packing Meat Division, and Adams Chapmen Company Poultry Division. This portion of the warehouse was built out with 15 loading docks, a 380-pallet refrigerator, 386-pallet freezer, refrigerated processing rooms and loading docks. Additionally, the Peabody property also has an additional 18,000 square-feet of office and training space, a commercial test kitchen, and an employee gym.

Harrison Development’s warehouse and office space in South Portland, Maine consists of 15,000 square-feet of warehouse space, and approximately 5,000 square-feet of accompanying office space. The warehouse has five loading docks, two drive-in doors, and is currently being occupied by Ship-Right Solutions, a third-party logistics company.

We are working with our tenant to expand the property by 10,000 square-feet, with nine additional dock doors, and a ramp door. This will help accommodate the recent growth of their business. The addition has been designed to accommodate solar panels for the future.
